What holiday season?
Who joyously celebrated Ramadan in Iraq with any lightness of heart this year?
With a virtual Freddie Kruger sitting in the White House, should every day not be taken as Friday the Thirteenth?
I thought of sending him a U.S.P.O. change of address kit, with the address of the nearest federal prison filled in the new address section.
Since the issue of impeachment first began to surface, (it hovered in the background for some time). I’ve cautioned advocates that the largest obstacle may prove to be the harshness of the day of reckoning.
But reckoning not for him; for a public that while many amoungst may have had misgivings from the start, and a majority, acording to recent polls, now “disapprove”of the results the current White House resident produces, still have not come to terms with the magnitude and monstrousness of what has come to pass.
Fed on a diet of mitigation, of legitimization based solely on position of power, even some of the harshest of critics in the mainstream are not prepared to annunciate where these matters must lead.
Impeachment, if justice be served, would be only step one.
CAPITAL crimes.
TREASON of the highest order.
VIOLATION of constitutional mandate,(most galling, the flippant, matter-of-course, abject disrespect for the natural rights of the individual).
GENOCIDE.
WAR CRIMES.
Finally, public trial.
I am not an unequivical advocate or opponent of capital punishment;as applied currently, however, an outright ban would far closer match justice.
I would restrict it’s application to federal government officials, found guilty as aforementioned.
An unfortunate aspect of objective reality is that it cares not for human aesthetics or sensitivity.
Here now it comes with it’s ugliest of faces.
Even those of us who vehemently opposed him from the beginning, who spoke out against the invasion of Iraq long before it commenced (and now speak against the imminent war with Iran) must acknowledge and bear our responsiblity.
First the magnitude and severity of what has transpired must the acknowledged.
In achieveing closure, the smirking chimp’s long overdue appointment for a Marie Antoinette hair cut must be met.
