This is almost, but not quite, a free speech zone.
The first comment posted by a person must always be approved (so don’t be surprised if there is a delay). This is a SPAM protection feature of the software that I have enabled.
- I expect heated debate. That may even overflow into name-calling, which I don’t mind as long as there are some facts interspersed. But foul language will not be tolerated.
- Untrue attributions or distortions regarding another person’s positions or statements will result in comments being deleted. Whether it is deliberate or a reading comprehension problem, it does nothing to advance a discussion. This is my pet peeve and it is strongly enforced.
